If someone tells you they were fully prepared to become a parent, they’re lying. Children don’t come with manuals, and no two are alike. Discover the various resources and support available to you if you choose parenting.

Do I Have What It Takes To Be A Parent?

To determine if parenting is possible, let’s discuss what you have available and what you might need. Answering the following questions may help you get started:

  • Do I have the support of my partner or my parents if I choose to raise my child?
  • Where will I live?
  • Can I afford to raise a child on my own?
  • Can I continue my education or my career while parenting?
  • What financial and emotional support would I have?
  • Where can I access healthcare, childcare, and essential items for a baby?
  • Do I have the desire to be a parent?

We can help you put together a parenting plan. It’s a big responsibility, but also incredibly rewarding.
